If one helped one
Today I took the trolley back from the metro station. The trolley stopped on Lafayette. A handicapped person wanted to board the trolley with the rest of his friends but the lift was broken. The man who was helping him get around was upset. This man was a middle aged african american man that had with him 5-6 special circumstance individuals of different ethnicities. Judging by his attire he seemed barely able to care for himself but he cared for 5-6 others that middle income individuals seem to struggle to take care of. I admired his strength and it made me sad. If one who barely survived could take care of five people of no blood relations with him why can’t others who make more then what they need to live not care for one other. If each person in this world would help just one other person, wouldn’t this world be perfect. I need to work harder…
