Effects of a lady passing out on the metro during rush hour…
So I was on the metro going back to Alexandria from Silver Spring where I work. This lady gets on the metro at the same time as I was. I was on the phone but i heard her moaning and such…but I thought she was just drunk and left her alone because there are some weird people on the metro. After I got off the phone I look back to see her laying in the seat…people take naps all the time on the metro so I didn’t think too much of it…A few stops go by and the car is starting to fill up with noise and everything she cannot be sleeping. Everyone looks at her some scoff “another drunk” …some yell half-heartedly “you alright over there” no response…I’m getting nervous and feeling a lil responsible I told the lady next to me who seems like she knows better than I how to handle something like that. She goes over taps her. We see that she’s breathing but no answer…someone shakes her a lightly …nothing…finally people call for emergency…Next stop the whole train stops and waits for paramedics. Everyone evacuates the train…did i mention this was rush hour…everyone fills Judiciary Square metro station. We stand there and wait to see how long it may take but after a few minutes some people decide to find another way…some tries to walk to the next station, others decide to wait, then someone yells that the train on the opposite side will run the next train…everyone rushes over the that platform. I decide to take that train to…as I go down the escalator I hear people shouting…as I get closer I hear “stop coming down…go back up…we’re getting smashed” then someone is running up the escalator thats going down…i follow…and everyone else follows… Well, I ended up calling an extremely reliable source to guide me to the next station and got on the metro …the end…
